• Treat every student with dignity, patience and fairness; never use physical punishment or humiliation.
• Keep professional boundaries: no private relationships, gifts or contact outside the madrassah's channels.
• Keep student information confidential and use the portal for all records.
• Be punctual and prepared, and model the akhlaq we teach.

Every appointment involves an application form, interview, two references (one from a recent employer or teaching role), identity and right-to-work checks, and an enhanced DBS check with barred-list check before starting. At least one person on each interview panel has completed safer recruitment training.
